Buying advice

Who is the Fischer Ranger 102 for?

The Fischer Ranger 102 is a freeride ski for confident intermediate to expert skiers. At 102 mm underfoot it floats in fresh snow and stays calm in chopped-up, variable terrain; on hard, icy pistes it takes more effort than a narrower ski.

Which Fischer Ranger 102 length should I choose?

Available in 162 cm, 169 cm, 176 cm, 183 cm, 190 cm. The table below rounds the usual rule of thumb to the lengths this ski comes in.

Suggested length by height and level
Your height	Beginner	Intermediate	Advanced
155 cm (5′1″)	–	–	162 cm
160 cm (5′3″)	–	–	162 cm
165 cm (5′5″)	–	162 cm	162 cm
170 cm (5′7″)	162 cm	162 cm	169 cm
175 cm (5′9″)	162 cm	162 cm	176 cm
180 cm (5′11″)	162 cm	169 cm	183 cm
185 cm (6′1″)	169 cm	176 cm	183 cm
190 cm (6′3″)	176 cm	183 cm	190 cm
195 cm (6′5″)	183 cm	183 cm	190 cm
200 cm (6′7″)	183 cm	190 cm	–

It comes in 162 cm, 169 cm, 176 cm, 183 cm, 190 cm. As a rule of thumb, beginners choose about 15 cm shorter than their height, intermediates about 10 cm shorter and advanced skiers around their own height.
