Buying advice

Who is the Völkl Secret 96 for?

The Völkl Secret 96 is an all-mountain ski for intermediate to advanced skiers who use the whole resort: at 96 mm underfoot it is narrow enough to grip on groomed runs and wide enough for a day after fresh snow.

Which Völkl Secret 96 length should I choose?

Available in 149 cm. The table below rounds the usual rule of thumb to the lengths this ski comes in.

Suggested length by height and level
Your height	Beginner	Intermediate	Advanced
150 cm (4′11″)	–	–	149 cm
155 cm (5′1″)	–	149 cm	149 cm
160 cm (5′3″)	149 cm	149 cm	149 cm
165 cm (5′5″)	149 cm	149 cm	–
170 cm (5′7″)	149 cm	–	–

Heavier, faster or more confident skiers can choose one size longer. See the ski size chart for more.

Is the Völkl Secret 96 good for beginners?

It suits confident beginners who already link their turns, but it is happiest with intermediate skiers. True beginners progress faster on a ski under 90 mm underfoot.

What length Völkl Secret 96 should I get?

It comes in 149 cm. As a rule of thumb, beginners choose about 15 cm shorter than their height, intermediates about 10 cm shorter and advanced skiers around their own height.
